Macon City Council's agenda setting committee on Monday declined to send to the full council contracts with NewTown Macon to oversee Terminal Station projects.
Some council members have continued to raise questions about the plan, which would put a wholly owned subsidiary of the downtown booster group, UDC Realty, in charge of construction projects at the historic station. UDC would also market and lease space at the station manage millions of dollars in federal grant money that is funding Terminal Station work.
Council members asked administration officials to renegotiate portions of the contracts with NewTown.
