A 2004 graduate of Warner Robins High School died Wednesday evening of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Sunday afternoon on Interstate 16 near Metter.
Jamie Lynn Carter, 22, died at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah where she had been in critical condition after being life-flighted from the scene.
Michael Notrica, media relations coordinator for the hospital, confirmed her death but said he could not say exactly when Carter died due to privacy regulations.
Friends say Carter died after surgery Wednesday at the hospital.

She had been on numerous prayer lists at local churches in recent days.
Carter and two friends from Georgia Southern University were on their way back to Statesboro in the left-hand lane of the interstate when a white sedan merged into their lane sending their 2000 Toyota 4-Runner flipping into the median.
Melissa Eustice, 20 and Jessica Lynn Fulmer, 21, died Sunday after all three were thrown from the vehicle as it overturned several times.
The Georgia State Patrol has asked for assistance in locating the driver of the sedan which could have been a Ford Taurus, witnesses said.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangments but the funeral service has not yet been scheduled.
