Less than an hour after a woman was shot at her north Bibb County home, deputies arrested the suspected gunman.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. today, Bibb County sheriff's deputies responded to a reported burglary at 5998 Huddersfield Road.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim shot once in the torso. She was conscious and alert and was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Officers issued a lookout for a white Lexus SUV that was spotted by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

Jones alerted deputies who arrested Jae Jin Joo, 45, and took him to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, said Lt. George Meadows, public information officer for the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The woman's identity hasn't been released, but sheriff's officials identified her as the girlfriend of the shooter. Bibb County Sheriff Jerry Modena said there was a history of domestic violence at that address.
