Early Tuesday morning authorities released the identity of Macon man killed in a shooting Monday afternoon.
Michael McKenzie, 34, of Berkner Avenue died of multiple gunshot wounds, said Bibb County coroner Leon Jones who met with McKenzie's family shortly after midnight.
"That's outrageous," Jones said of McKenzie's wounds. "I can't fathom the idea of someone shooting someone that many times. There were so many bullet holes in him, it was unreal."
Jones said there were six shell casings in the street and four bullet holes in the seat of McKenzie's car.
