Smoke from wildfires in south Georgia is creating a haze once again over Middle Georgia.
The National Weather Service reports the smoke will drift north through the morning and affect Macon, Columbus, and west and central Georgia. Smoke may even filter into the metro Atlanta area.
Drivers should prepare for sudden reductions in visibility and might have to use low beam headlights.
National Weather Service forecasters expect a southeasterly flow of air will continue to bring smoke into Georgia for the next few days.
