Smoke from raging wildfires in South Georgia is once again creating a haze across the area.
Emergency dispatchers in Macon and Warner Robins have been receiving calls about the smoke, but there are no local fires.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast this afternoon could help clear the air as was the case Saturday when thick smoke reduced visibility to less than a half mile in Macon.
People with respiratory ailments should remain indoors until the smoke dissipates.
