More than two hours after a log truck overturned on the Spring Street entrance ramp, police reopened the approach to Interstates 16 and 75.
At about 10:30 a.m., the logs shifted as the truck driver turned onto the ramp from the Gray Highway side of the interstate, police said.
Workers reloaded some of the logs onto another truck and cleared the rest from the roadway.
Police asked them to return to pick up the rest of the logs later in the evening when traffic was not as heavy.
