Holy Jesus, our redeemer and our friend, even when we stumble and fall, you raise us up to try again. Lord, you do not condemn us when our faith is tested, and we are slow to stand on shaky ground. There is no one like you. The truth is hard to face alone. You have said to us, “Do not fear, for I am with you.” Thank you for giving us second chances. You give us strength to resist the tendencies of sin and to rise above reproach. Jesus, we need you every minute, every hour and every day to withstand the rushing tide of doubt that is threatening your people. You are the cornerstone, the rock of ages, and all that we will ever need. Amen.
