Dear Father, As we live this day, I pray we may be sensitive to your call and act with unquestioned obedience. Let not despair drain our strength, nor fear chill our faith. As you saw the sufferings of your people in bondage in Egypt, heard their cries and knew their anguish of spirit, so look compassionately on us and guide us through our trouble. In Christ’s name. Amen.
