O Lord, our God, teach us today, in these difficult times, to love with the love that you have shown to even the least of us. You have given to us a heart that swells with compassion and hope. Now, show us the power of love and respect for our fellow man and this country we call our home. We sometimes take for granted the freedom and liberty we experience today. Many drops of blood were shed for our safety and our way of life. This blood, like a river, flows with the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. With heartfelt gratitude we honor and thank them all. Lord, bless our country. Let us have peace and join hands for a bright future for ourselves and hope for our children. Thank you ever so much for being with us, always, even until the end of time. Amen.
