My Jesus, Lord of all, today my heart is heavily burdened for the innocent, the weak, and the helpless of your kingdom. When you created us there was no fear of evil but the tides of time eventually changed and evil found us and is still a dark intruder into many people’s lives. Some of the most precious of our loved ones have been treated with hate and have been abused and even killed. Lord, you above all have compassion for those you call your own and for we who love them so. May we all set aside time to pray for an awakening of worldwide humanity. Let us begin with asking a friend to join in prayer and many more to pray for the cruelty and killing to end. In your mighty and holy name. Help us Jesus, I pray. Amen.
