O glorious God, into your bosom -- so safe and warm -- you gather us, even in our brokenness and you comfort us in body, mind and soul. You know our thoughts and cares and you know what is best for us all. You are a loving Heavenly Father and we so thank you for calling us your own. Make and mold us by your hands. Help us through pain, sorrow and suffering according to your will. Give us strength and fortitude in our travels so that we can be your witness before others. Have mercy, O Lord, on the weak, the lost and the indifferent. In your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.
