Cranberry fluff

4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

3/4 cup sugar

3 cups miniature marshmallows

1 medium Granny Smith apple (unpeeled), cored and diced

1 medium red apple (unpeeled), cored and diced

1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks, well drained

1/2 cup halved seedless grapes (green and/or red)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup whipping cream, whipped, or frozen whipped topping, defrosted

Lettuce leaves for serving

Makes 12 servings.

Place cranberries and sugar in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped and blended. Scrape into a glass dish; stir in marshmallows. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. A half-hour before serving, stir in the fruit, nuts and salt. Fold in the whipped cream and refrigerate. Serve on lettuce leaves.
