White chocolate, cherry, almond bread pudding

6 slices cinnamon bread

2 eggs

1 egg yolk

3/4 cup half and half

3 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup dried cherries

1/4 cup white chocolate chips

2 tablespoons toasted almonds

2 tablespoons toasted coconut

Dash vanilla extract

Pinch nutmeg

Cut the crust off the bread and cut into 1-inch cubes and set aside. Whisk together the eggs, yolk, half and half, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour over the bread cubes. Add the rest of the ingredients and let sit for about 30 minutes to absorb the custard. Bake in individual dishes that have been buttered and sugared. Bake in a 400-degree oven in a water bath - pour hot water in a baking dish after placing dishes inside. Bake for about 20 minutes - or until nicely brown on top.

Serve warm with ice cream and/or whip cream.
