French coconut pie

1/2 stick butter

2 eggs, beaten

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup (or 3 1/2 ounces) shredded coconut

1 cup milk

9-inch pie shell, unbaked

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a saucepan, melt butter, then add remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.
