Warm up your heart by warming up your feet on Valentine's Day. The PUDUS slipper socks, available from TheGrommet.com (https://www.thegrommet.com/slipper-socks), combine the coziness of a thick sock with the functionality of a bedroom slipper. The socks will help to keep your feet warm whether at day or at night. (Be warned that your kids might want to borrow them, too).
These socks are light and comfortable to wear. I was a doubter at first, having tried many thick, fuzzy socks over the years and finding THAT those eventually became too warm. I did not have that experience at all with the PUDUS socks and found their softness to be an inviting reason to keep them on.
The insides of the slipper socks are lined with plush faux shearling while the outer material is made of acrylic. A nice feature is that the cuffs on the socks can be rolled up or down to fit personal preference. The silicone grips on the bottom of the socks help to prevent people from slipping on smooth floors.
These one-size-fits-all socks initially looked rather small in breadth, but the stretchy nature of the material allowed them to go comfortably on. Not once did the socks feel too tight or too snug on my feet.

PUDUS socks get their name from a small species of South American deer, which is known as the pudu. Just like these deer, these socks are meant to be cute and cuddly.
The socks are available in eight different patterns on the Grommet website and sell for $20 a pair. Although the patterns include "Grey Snowflakes" and "'Lumberjack Blue," the "Valentine Hearts" option may be the most fitting for February.
