1 1/2 tablespoons dark rum

1 1/2 tablespoons apricot brandy

4 1/2 tablespoons orange juice

4 1/2 tablespoons pineapple juice

1 1/2 tablespoons grenadine

Makes 1 drink 1 1/2 tablespoons light rum.

Shake the first 5 ingredients well with ice and strain into a highball glass half-filled with cracked ice. Slowly pour the grenadine into the glass, letting it sink to the bottom of the drink to make a glowing red layer. The cocktail can be lavishly garnished with tropical fruits.
