Always perfect meatloaf

1 pound ground beef

1 egg

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk

2 cups soft bread crumbs

Makes 8 servings.

Combine all ingredients thoroughly. (The consistency might seem a bit soupy, but when baked, the meatloaf is firm.) Pack into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drain fat. Let cool 5 minutes and then slice and serve hot or cold.

Nutrition per serving: 301 calories (43 percent from fat), 14.1 g fat (6 g saturated, 5.3 g mono unsaturated), 78.7 mg cholesterol, 18.1 g protein, 24.2 g carbohydrates, 1.2 g fiber, 729.9 mg sodium.
