Jim Sawyer's chili light

You will need:

2 pounds ground turkey

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup diced onion

1/4 cup mild chili spice

16 ounces red beans

16 to 18 ounces tomato juice

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 cup water

16 ounces diced tomatoes, chilled

1 cup ice

In a large skillet, brown turkey with 1/4 cup water. Add diced onion and chili spice. Brown until onions are clear. Add red beans and tomato juice. Bring to a boil.

Blend cornstarch with 1 cup water, and add to mixture. Return to a boil. Lower temperature, and add chilled tomatoes. Stir to blend. Add 1 cup ice, and stir. Cover and refrigerate after cooled. Serve the next day.
