Severe storms wreaked havoc on several midstate counties overnight.
The National Weather Service is compiling preliminary storm damage reports from Dodge, Laurens, Treutlen, Johnson, Emanuel and Crisp counties.
According to initial reports, two people were hurt four miles south of Dublin when two mobile homes were destroyed as thunderstorm winds ripped through about 2 a.m. in the
McLendon Road area.
At about 1:45 a.m., amateur radio operators reported an overturned mobile home and glass windows blown out of store fronts in Eastman.

destroyed one building and significantly damaged at least three others.
A high wind advisory remains in effect from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. tonight as strong winds
of 20 to 30 mph are expected with gusts of up to 45 mph possible.
