With much of the new season set to kick off after Labor Day weekend, there's still quite a few summer shows that are still going with new episodes.
Tonight, cable has new episodes of "Boss" (STARZ, 10 p.m.) and "Strike Back" (Max, 10 p.m.)
On Saturday, BBC America follows up the time travel aspect of "Doctor Who" from last week with the space travel aspect this week during an hour-long special at 9 p.m. Where in the universe would you want to go? (Don't say Paris, it's such a cliche).
On Sunday, finally, it's the season finales of "True Blood" and "The Newsroom" from 9-11 p.m. on HBO. I gave up on the former a couple of years ago, while I've been trying to quit the latter, but it's so awful that I can't seem to look away.

Meanwhile, Showtime has the Season 2 finale for "Extras" at 10:30 p.m. following a new "Weeds."
Note on TNT that "Leverage" moves to a new time at 9 p.m., followed by "The Great Escape" at 10 p.m.
And, as always, the pick of the night is "Breaking Bad" (AMC, 10 p.m.), which follows "Hell On Wheels" at 9 p.m.
