The TV Guide Channel has been rerunning certain programs over the past couple of years, such as "Ugly Betty," in an effort to build up its own brand.
Tonight begins a new experiment that sounds interesting, to say the least. The channel is broadcasting reruns of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," the brilliant and popular HBO comedy series in which we take a look into creator Larry David's faux TV life.
The twist? TV Guide is running a discussion of each episode after it airs, moderated by series co-star Susie Essman. Each episode, the guest panel (which includes Jerry Seinfeld tonight) breaks down the plot and decides whether or not Larry is justified in whatever actions he took or didn't take.
It's an interesting concept and likely a new way to re-watch these great episodes.
WEDNESDAY'S BEST BETS: The networks only offer so-called reality fare, with Fox airing "So You Think You Can Dance" at 8 p.m. and NBC countering with "America's Got Talent" at 9 p.m.
ABC is burning off new episodes of "Happy Town" at 10 p.m.
On cable, "In Plain Sight" (USA, 10 p.m.) returns with a new episode.
