ABC returns the ridiculous and funny pseudo game show "Wipeout" (ABC, 8 p.m.) tonight.
It's a series in which a bunch of average gluttons for punishment run an obstacle course designed to inflict as much pain as legally possible. I'm sure the ABC attorneys worked overtime on this show.
TUESDAY'S BEST BETS: "Glee" (Fox, 9 p.m.) airs its penultimate episode of the season tonight. I plan on going in-depth on "Glee" for its finale next week.
NBC also airs its own reality competition tonight, "America's Got Talent" (NBC, 8 p.m.), which is painful like "Wipeout" -- only this time, for the viewer. Howie Mandel replaces David Hasselhoff as one of the judges.
On cable, there's a new "Law & Order: SVU" at 10 p.m. on USA. Meanwhile, BBC America airs a new "Ashes To Ashes" at the same time, while "Justified" (FX, 10 p.m.) is close to wrapping up as well.
