Electioneering

Only a brief, and late, update today because I was on the campaign trail with Roy Barnes.

In fact, this week might be a little wonky for me since I'll likely have more election-related stuff.

Over the weekend, I did contribute to my friend Deb Eckerling's writing/media-oriented blog about some Halloween goodies. You can read it here: http://writeononline.com/2010/10/25/write-on-review-halloween-tv/

MONDAY'S BEST BETS: For those who aren't getting their "Battlestar Galactica" fix from "Caprica," (you know who you are), you're in for some luck tonight as Tricia Helfer guests on "Lie To Me" (Fox, 9 p.m.) I'm pretty sure she's playing someone really, really hot.

And, on tonight's "Hawaii Five-0," Kono (Grace Park) finally gets some of the spotlight she hasn't gotten to this point when her former surfing mentor is murdered. It follows a whole new night of CBS sitcoms.

"Dancing With The Stars" (ABC, 8 p.m.) is new, and is followed by a clever installment of "Castle," (ABC, 10 p.m.), in which a serial killer re-emerges after four years.

"Chuck" (NBC, 8 p.m.) has the title hero not only square off with his spy mom (Linda Hamilton), but a scientist who invades people's dreams (Robert Englund). Nice bit of casting, having the guy who played Freddy Krueger play a guy who invades people's dreams during Halloween week. It's followed by "The Event" and "Chase."

On cable, there's "Weeds" and "The Big C" from 10-11 p.m. on Showtime. Meanwhile, HBO kicks off the third season of "In Treatment" with back to back episodes from 9-10 p.m.
