Boyle On 'AGT' -- Sort Of

Susan Boyle, who became a worldwide internet sensation with her performance on "Britain's Got Talent," appears tonight on "America's Got Talent" (NBC, 9 p.m.)

An extended interview between Boyle and Meredith Viera will be shown, but it's not known if they will have Boyle perform as well. Most likely, if she does sing, it will be a clip from "BGT."

So far, the US version of the show hasn't produced anyone who has become an overnight sensation like Boyle has.

WEDNESDAY'S BEST BETS: Right now, only CBS among the networks is listed as having President Obama's press conference at 8 p.m., but that could change.

ABC is schedule to have "Wipeout" and "I Survived A Japanese Game Show," followed by a news special about the price of oil at 10 p.m.

On cable, I was underwhelmed by TNT's new series "Dark Blue" (TNT, 10 p.m.) It follows a new "Leverage" at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, "Torchwood: Children of Earth" (BBC America, 9 p.m.) airs Part 3 tonight after two terrific installments this week. Remember, it's 75 minutes.
