R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett

News just broke that Farrah Fawcett, one of the "it girls" from my youth, died today at 62.

Fawcett, who shot to stardom in the 1970s from her role on "Charlie's Angels," had been battling cancer for several years. A TV documentary about her experience aired just a couple of weeks ago.

Despite being a sexual icon of that decade, Fawcett also earned praise for her acting, especially in the TV movie, "The Burning Bed."

THURSDAY'S BEST BETS: The best bets are definitely on USA tonight, which gives us new episodes of "Burn Notice" at 9 p.m. and "Royal Pains" at 10 p.m.

On the networks, the only new thing of note is a new episode of "The Listener" (NBC, 10 p.m.). Also, ABC is burning off the last few episodes of "Samantha Who?" and "In The Motherhood," beginning at 8 p.m.

However, tonight's rerun of "Supernatural" (CW, 9 p.m.) is the one where Dean is infected by a creature that causes people to experience fear. It's one of the funniest and cleverest episodes in that series' entire run.
