Parrish Construction

We are a professional, commercial construction firm that specializes in educational and healthcare construction throughout Georgia. We build K-12 educational facilities and do a lot of work with Georgia’s technical colleges and the Board of Regents’ college campuses. We do other projects too, like churches, fuel stations and car dealerships, but our primary focus is education and healthcare facilities.

Greatest contribution Parrish Construction makes to Middle Georgia

Our priorities are pride in our work and in being a good corporate citizen in the communities in which we do business. We contribute significant time, energy and financial support to many charitable organizations in Middle Georgia and encourage every team member to be active in the community. We practice a tithe and annually give 10% of our corporate profits to charity, not counting sponsorships.

Why education is such a powerful, life-changing tool.

God didn’t create us to sit around on our tails. God created us to work. When you’re educated and take advantage of the educational opportunities around you, you’re more likely to find what you were created to do. When people find what they were created to do they’re inherently successful. Education is taking the God-given gifts we are all given and putting our time and energy into developing them so we’re contributing members of the community.

My hope for Education Together.

We believe Education Together has potential for significant impact and answers a real financial need.  Students are falling through the cracks because they can’t afford college. This isn’t a handout, it’s a hand-up and a noble opportunity to help capable students. Even if we only helped one student it would be rewarding enough, but Education Together is focused on sending many students to college or for technical training. Once people learn what Education Together is doing, they’ll want to participate and it will grow.

How I will define the success of Education Together.

As Georgia’s largest educational builder, our team members are on campuses with students daily. I’m excited to see the gap we can fill, and if we can stroke a few checks and know that students who wouldn’t have been able to go to college or get a vocational education otherwise will go to school through Education Together, we’ll be completely successful. This is an opportunity for us to further their education and help them reach their dreams, which for us is a worthwhile investment.
