Nick Cherney, Northside: Caught 17 passes for 194 yards and three touchdowns in 2004. Caught a touchdown as a junior. Cherney was probably most well-known as a blocker. Named to AP all-state team as a senior.
Ben Collins, Houston County: Collins received consensus all-state honors as a senior after gaining 329 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was also an outstanding blocker, grading out at 87 percent. Helped lead the Bears to only their third appearance in the state quarterfinals. Selected to the GACA All-Star Game. Named to consecutive all-county teams. Currently playing at Coastal Carolina.
Jason Hargrove, Warner Robins: Hargrove was named first-team all-state by the AJC in 2004. Very good blocker, but he also caught five passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns as a senior. Caught a touchdown pass as a junior. Signed with West Georgia.
