Nick Bass, Northside: Named to the AP All-State team as a senior. Caught 43 passes for 770 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. Caught 39 passes for 524 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. Northside went 30-0 in Bass' final two seasons. He also caught 15 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore. Signed with Georgia Southern.
Alex Gainey, FPD: Had two seasons over more than 1,500 receiving yards. His career totals were 219 catches for 4,200 yards and 35 touchdowns. Two-time all-state selection. Played at Jacksonville State.
Willie Gibson, Wilcox County: Caught 27 passes for 844 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. Helped the Patriots play for a state championship. Averaged 31.3 yards per catch. Received consensus all-state honors and was an All-Middle Georgia pick. Playing at Cumberlands.

Nick Kyles, Baldwin: Kyles was named to all three all-state teams (AP, coaches, AJC) in 2004 after being getting an honorable mention nod from the AP in 2003. Caught 62 passes for 1,064 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior. Signed to Alabama out of high school, then played at Albany State. He is now a junior at Georgia Southern.
Danny Madison, Westside: Madison was a two-time first team All-Middle Georgian. He was the AP Class AAAA Offensive Player of the Year in 2008. Caught 39 passes for 850 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior. He caught 22 passes for 585 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. Helped lead Westside to the first undefeated regular season in school history, and the first in Bibb County in over 30 years.
Keith Mumphrey, Dooly County: One of the few current players on the list, Mumphrey followed up a stellar junior season with 37 catches for 611 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior. He caught 49 passes for 970 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior. Named to the AJC all-state team as a junior. Committed to Michigan State.
Chris Slaughter, Peach County: One of the greatest receivers in state history, Slaughter had 3,395 career receiving yards, which is good for third all-time. Had 1,350 receiving yards and a state-record 23 touchdowns as a senior, helping to lead Peach County to a state championship. Caught 42 passes for 1,016 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior. Named to the All-Middle Georgia first team three times. Two-time all-state selection. Ranked as one of the top 15 recruits at wide receiver in the nation by Rivals.com. Signed with Auburn.
Demaryius Thomas, West Laurens: Named to the AJC all-state team as a senior after catching 56 passes for 756 yards and seven touchdowns in 2005. Selected for the GACA all-star game. Caught 32 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. Has gone on to an all-conference career at Georgia Tech, where as a junior he was among the nation’s leaders in yards per catch.
Udom Umoh, Peach County: Received consensus all-state honors as a senior in 2006. As a senior, Umoh caught 64 passes for 1,058 yards and 14 touchdowns, including two in the state championship win over Shaw. Second-leading receiver as a junior when the Trojans won a state championship. Currently a sophomore at Vanderbilt.
