DESTIN, Fla. – Kirby Smart wasn't kidding about Georgia's desire to get bigger on the perimeter.
Georgia secured a commitment from class of 2017 receiver Matt Landers, a 6-foot-5 and 185-pound target from St. Petersburg, Florida, according to Dawgs247.
Landers is the second big receiver target to commit to Georgia in this year's recruiting class. The first was Lowndes receiver Xavier Jenkins, who is listed at 6-3 and 195 pounds.
Georgia is hoping to add bigger targets on the outside for its quarterbacks to throw the ball to. Landers, who held offers from the likes of Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, and Notre Dame, among others, is considered a three-star prospect.
