Jarren Williams took some time to reevaluate his recruiting decision. In the end, the same team that stood with him from the beginning is where he will end up.
On Monday, Williams, fresh off of Central Gwinnett's spring scrimmage against Discovery, committed to Kentucky again. Williams was previously committed to the Wildcats before briefly opening up his recruitment. That allowed for teams such as Alabama and Georgia to do their part to get in the mix.
It wouldn't be enough as the three-star dual-threat quarterback decided to stick with his initial choice.
"In the end, the relationships and trust that I have built with the coaching staff, players, and all the support from the fanbase is all too important," Williams said in a statement posted to his Twitter account.
Georgia is still looking for its first quarterback commitment in the recruiting class of 2018. With only two quarterbacks on scholarship, the Bulldogs are likely trying to land two quarterbacks in this class.
