Georgia star running back Nick Chubb sustained a left knee injury and will not return to Saturday's game against Tennessee.
The injury occurred on the first play from scrimmage. Chubb took a toss and bounced the play to his left. Tennessee cornerback Emmanuel Moseley was credited with the tackle. The injury looked serious as trainers immediately tended to Chubb on the field.
Sony Michel and Keith Marshall received carries on consecutive plays.
Neyland Stadium was unfriendly to Georgia two years ago. On that day, both Marshall and receiver Justin Scott-Wesley tore their anterior cruciate ligaments.
Chubb's streak of 100-yard games will end at 13 and tied with former Georgia running back Herschel Walker.
