Georgia defensive back Rico McGraw will likely be available to play this Saturday against Alabama, head coach Mark Richt said Wednesday.
This upgrades McGraw from the questionable tag Richt placed earlier this week on Tuesday. McGraw had an arthroscopic procedure to repair and injured meniscus before Georgia's game against South Carolina two weeks ago.
"I think he’ll be available to play," Richt said.
McGraw has been able to practice over the last two days. He began the season as Georgia's top option at the star position. Missing the past two games, Quincy Mauger has filled in at the star with Johnathan Abram lining up at safety. If the Bulldogs go with McGraw at the star this week, Mauger would likely move back to safety.
