1. Hot, hot, hot seat: There are reports that Will Muschamp will return as Florida's head coach, but that's hard to understand with a 4-7 season that includes the program's first-ever loss to an FCS program. The 26-20 loss to Georgia Southern could have been the final straw, and no one would have debated it.
2. Early end for Murray: Aaron Murray has done just about everything he can for Georgia's football team but win a title, although that is not all on him. But it's almost fitting that he was hurt Saturday in this season of injuries for the Bulldogs. Fitting but still awful for a classy young man and a heck of a college quarterback.
3: LSU dominates: The Tigers' defense kept Johnny Manziel under control, and because of that, LSU smacked Texas A&M around. Should anyone be surprised? John Chavis is the best defensive coordinator around.
4. Big year for Vandy: In one season, Vanderbilt has knocked off Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. That's a big statement for James Franklin's program.
5. Missouri fights on: Everyone keeps waiting for Missouri to fold, and Saturday at Mississippi was supposed to be the perfect spot for it to happen. But the Tigers won again, and now they just need a home win over Texas A&M to head to the SEC title game.
