ATHENS - Before I get to the mailbag call, it would be appropriate to address something rather important.
As of today, The Telegraph has joined The Ledger-Enquirer - as well as multitudes of other papers - in going to a new system for viewing online stories. There's a good explanation from our publisher right here.
But here's the nub of it: You will continue to get 15 free visits per month to this site. After that, there is a subscription plan, which is detailed in the above link.
I realize this won't be ideal news for all of you, but as my publisher points out, it's the same plan that The New York Times, Baltimore Sun and 300 other newspapers have adopted. I won't bore you with the finances of the industry, but I'll just assure you that it wasn't a decision made lightly.
Never miss a local story.
I can also assure that I'm going to continue to try to provide top-notch and in-depth coverage of Georgia athletics, and I'm going to do my best to make you keep visiting, whether it's just 15 visits per month or more. I know there are other areas to get your information on Georgia athletics, but I've always done my best to provide insight, analysis and information that is unique and, well, worth paying just a little amount of money for. That's not going to change.
Now, time for a mailbag.
As always, you can submit your question by posting in the comment section below, or e-mailing me at email@example.com, or tweeting at me at @sethemerson.
Feel free to ask anything you want this week: Georgia football, the BCS, the early-season struggles of the Bulldog men's basketball team ... or even the changes to this blog and site. I'll tackle any subject I can.
Also, I humbly request you provide your city and state of residence, along with something as close to your real name as possible.
