ATHENS - Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo has had a year added to his contract, and new assistant coach Tracy Rocker will earn slightly more than previously announced.
Bobo will have an extra year added to his existing contract, a three-year deal that he signed last year. So he will now be signed through December 2016, or any bowl game in January of that season.
Other terms of the contract, including his $575,000 salary, remain unchanged for now, athletics director Greg McGarity confirmed.
This is according to a draft memorandum of understanding released by UGA per an open records request.
Meanwhile Rocker, who was hired in January as the defensive line coach, will be earning $350,000 this season, more than previously announced. That's because UGA will also pay Rocker $50,000 in supplementary compensation.
McGarity said supplementary compensation is not new for Georgia assistants.
