The countdown is on for where Mercer heads this week in the NCAA baseball tournament.
As we've been saying here for awhile, the Bears are in, it's just a matter of where and against who. Or whom.
The selection show is less than hour away, and here are the main projections for Mercer, Georgia Tech and Savannah State, listed in order of seeds.
Tallahassee: Florida State, Mercer, Alabama, Savannah State.
Columbia: South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Canisius
Tallahassee: FSU, Mercer, Auburn, Savannah State
Bloomington: Indiana, Georgia Tech, UConn, Valparaiso

Raleigh: N.C. State, Mercer, Florida, Canisius
Tallahassee: FSU, Florida Atlantic, UConn, Savannah State
Columbia: South Carolina, Tech, Coastal Carolina, Bryant
College Baseball Daily
Starkville: Mississippi State, Mercer, Troy, Jackson State
Columbia: South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Elon, Savannah State
Raleigh: N.C. State, Mercer, Auburn, The Citadel (Site has wrong Southern Conference team; Elon won the tournament)
Nashville: Vanderbilt, Austin Peay, Oklahoma State, Savannah State
Eugene: Oregon, Georgia Tech, Cal Santa Barbara, Texas-San Antonio
So that's two at FSU, two at NC State and one at Starkville. A-Sun regular season champ ETSU's possibilities are Nashville in three, Starkville and Blacksburg.
The Big South is a consensus multi-bid league, since Liberty won the tournament, with Campbell and Coastal Carolina getting at-larges. The Southern a one-bid league, with Western Carolina on the outside.
Regardless, expect Mercer to be playing on Sunday or Monday for the right to advance to a Super Regional. Being a two seed is huge, and the A-Sun tournament was fairly distasteful for the Bears. Should be a bit more juiced this week. And all regional sites will have an ESPN platform presence, with its Bases Loaded thing.
Now, let's see which website wins on the guesses.
