Robins Air Force Base hosted its third annual Environmental, Safety and Health Fair on Tuesday at the Museum of Aviation.
More than 100 organizations from the government and private sectors participated in the event.
As the event’s name would suggest, exhibitions featured eco-friendly, safe and healthy products, including everything from waterless urinals to free back massages.
The event scarcely looked like previous years’ fairs. There were about 40 more organizations represented at this year’s fair than last year’s event, which was held in a “picnic area” inside the Robins fence line, said Melanie Clearman, the program manager for Voluntary Protection Program. “I expect it to be even bigger and better next year,” she added. This year’s fair even included a live band that performed in front of the museum’s Century of Flight Hangar.
