President Trump awarded Army Capt. Gary “Mike” Rose the Medal of Honor during a ceremony held at the White House on Oct. 23. Rose is credited with saving dozens of soldiers lives during a covert mission during the Vietnam War.

Shaye Haver spoke at a press conference on August 20, 2015, about their journey as the first women to successfully complete Army Ranger school, the U.S. Army's elite training and leadership school. The women reflected on being accepted as part of the group and what their success meant to them and hopefully for the women to come after them.
A Chevrolet Silverado pickup crashed off Emery Highway in east Macon at 5:30 AM on Monday, February 19, 2018. One person was trapped and another was out of the vehicle when Macon-Bibb County firefighters arrived. The victims, Danny and Deborah Martin, of Macon, were injured in the crash.
Kristie Buckner, 23, is charged with felony murder in the fatal crash that killed Precell Brooks Jr. in Macon, GA, on Feb. 10, 2018. Buckner is accused of shooting from her car at a man who crashed into Precell while fleeing from her, police say.
