Bibb County school officials have reported a principal and testing coordinator to the state for testing violations, officials said Thursday.
A state report in February showed some school systems in the state had higher than average number of erasure marks on 2009 Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests.
Bibb had two schools — Burke and Brookdale elementaries — in a severe-concern level for erasure marks. Six more schools had moderate concerns.
Bibb schools investigated the matter and April 29 former Burke principal Emanual Frazier, who is now the principal at Union Elementary, and former Burke testing coordinator Camisha Sneed were reported to the state on a complaint of violating honesty and testing standards, school officials said.
Burke was closed last school year and students consolidated into other schools. Brookdale findings did not warrant any complaints, McGee said.
