Students at all three of Pulaski County’s schools were dismissed early Monday because of water problems, Superintendent Janis Sparrow said.
Problems with a city water pump led to low water pressure, primarily affecting Pulaski County Middle School and Hawkinsville High School. Because of the issue, toilets could not be flushed at the schools. Pulaski County Elementary School also experienced some water problems.
Buses began arriving at the schools shortly after 1 p.m. Sparrow said she expects classes to resume today.
