Mercer University’s moot court team swept the awards at the Charleston School of Law’s National Moot Court Competition last week in South Carolina.
Mercer won the team championship with members Falen Cox and Emily Macheski-Preston, both third-year law students. Macheski-Preston won the best oralist, and the team also won Best Respondent’s Brief.
Nineteen schools competed at the event.
At other competitions, Mercer students Louise Smith and Christy Thornton won the Best Brief Award at the region BLSA Douglass Competition in January.
