Lee Fruitticher has been promoted to vice president of business affairs at Gordon College in Barnesville, according to a news release from the college.
Fruitticher, who has been with the school for three years, previously served as associate vice president of business affairs. Prior to his position at Gordon, Fruitticher was controller at Macon State College.
“It is exciting to be associated with this historic institution,” Fruitticher said. “One of the many things I like about this job is working with the other cabinet members and the president on strategic planning for the college.
As a result of our record-breaking growth, we envision the college moving faster toward its goal of adding more programs of study as well as facilities to accommodate the growth.”
A Macon resident, Fruitticher earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Georgia Southern University and a master’s in business administration from Georgia College & State University.
