The Bibb County school board will meet today for its 2:30 p.m. committee meeting and then again at 6 p.m. for its regular meeting.
On the agenda is a contract approval to start a new Ombudsman program, an offsite alternative program operated by an outside company for Bibb’s ninth- through 12th-graders. The program would start in August.
The board is also slated to vote on a 2010 payroll calendar and 2009-10 student code of conduct as well as review other school system information, such as school construction and athletics.
The board meets at 484 Mulberry St., fourth floor.
