Middle Georgia Regional Library locations are kicking off their annual summer reading program Monday. This year’s theme is “Build a Better World,” and the program lasts until Aug. 5.
Kids and adults of all ages are invited to participate, and they can register at any branch or online at bibblib.org. Reading logs can be picked up at any location.
The libraries are challenging participants to read at least 25 hours this summer. The branches will host family-friendly reading activities throughout the summer and most will also plan celebrations halfway through the challenge.
