The teenager on the bicycle “smelled of fresh marijuana,” an incident report said. A Bibb deputy saw the 17-year-old boy cruising around Napier and Burton avenues on the morning of July 2.
The boy said he had just left his uncle’s house, which deputies had been to recently for possible drug activity.
“Upon smelling the marijuana,” the deputy wrote in his report, “I asked the subject did he have anything on him. ... He stated, ‘I got something in my pocket, but it’s not mine.’”
There was a plastic baggy of pot in the kid’s pocket, the deputy noted, adding that the boy repeated, “It’s not mine! I was gonna sell it to my homeboy in Pleasant Hill.”
The teen was charged with possession with intent to distribute weed.
