The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday evening shooting at a home in the 100 block of Village Road.
Deputies responded to a call of a person shot just before 7:30 p.m. The male who was shot, whose age and name were not released, ran out of the house. He was found a short time later and taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound in his left leg and left hand, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
The injuries are not considered life threatening, and he was listed in stable condition.
Sheriff’s investigators are interviewing possible witnesses. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message with an “on-call” investigator, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
