Bibb County deputies need help identifying two suspects wanted for questioning in multiple alleged cases of identity theft and financial transaction card fraud.
The suspects gained access to credit and debit card information, including PINs, by attaching “skimming devices” to ATMs in the Macon and Atlanta areas, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
The fraudulently captured information was later used to produce cloned cards for subsequent ATM withdrawals, according to the release.
Anyone with information that would help identify the suspects is asked to call 478-751-7500 and leave a message for the on-call investigator. Anonymous tips can be made through Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
