A Macon man accused of attacking a convenience store clerk in a 2014 robbery attempt was indicted Tuesday.
Randy Vanshun Rozier, 33, is charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery by force in connection with the Oct. 25 heist at Raceway, 6001 Harrison Road, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
The indictment alleges Rozier struck a clerk in her face and slammed her head into a counter when she refused to open the cash register.
Rozier additionally is charged with robbery by force, theft by taking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with an Oct. 17, 2014, incident in which he allegedly took a woman's gun, keys and her car. He was convicted of theft by taking a motor vehicle in 1999, according to the indictment.

Rozier is being held at the county jail on $20,550 bond, according to jail records.
