WARNER ROBINS -- A ruling on the cause and manner of death of a woman found dead in her car in a parking lot last week is not expected to be made until toxicology results are in, the coroner said.
The autopsy was done Monday, but the toxicology results are not expected to be completed for about three months, said Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin.
Galpin said the medical examiner was reluctant to make an initial finding without the toxicology report.
No foul play is suspected, Galpin said.
The body of Mary Ninette Douglas, 49, of Warner Robins, was found Thursday night by a relative in the parking lot of Lowe’s at 2704 Watson Blvd. She had been reported missing by family members about four hours earlier. The family became alarmed after she had not picked up her daughter at 11 a.m. at the Houston County Career Center as planned.
